Armani Privé adds Encens Satin to the ‘La collection’, and delves us deeper into the history of Perfumery by bringing to light the significance of incense – the eldest fragrance ingredient. This time it’s about vivacity, opulence and seduction – described by Armani as sitting somewhere between the ‘spicy woodiness’ of Bois D’Encens and Rose D’Arabie.
With top notes of citrus and spices, the fragrance opens with a vibrant but warm blend of cardamom, pink pepper, ginger, elemi and solar incense MD (Molecular Distillation to you and I). The heart simmers with immortelle, cistus absolute, benzoin absolute and incense resinoid. The base is cedarwood, animalic ambrox and earthy patchouli.
