It really didn’t surprise us when La Petite Robe Noire‘s ad. for their Eau Fraiche scooped Best New Female Fragrance Commercial in The Fragrance Foundation Awards, a few months ago.
These short films can’t fail to put a smile on anyone’s face – and the new one, for the just-launched La Petite Robe Noire Eau de Parfum Intense is no exception, with Guerlain‘s stylish heroine jet-setting between animated backdrops of Moscow, Venice, Paris and New York to the usual foot-tapping sound of ‘These Boots Were Made for Walking’.
So: we invite you to take 60 seconds or so out of your day for a joyous viewing of the commercial for Thierry Wasser‘s latest addition to the blockbuster La Petite Robe Noire wardrobe: a fruity-edged gourmand floral that’s pure sweetness and light, opening flirtily with blueberry, cassis, raspberry and wisps of cotton candy, blossoming into Bulgarian rose and vanilla, then softening to a woodsy sandalwood-patchouli accord – and at the same time, shot throughout with that unmistakeable Guerlain-ness. (The La Petite Robe Noire collection has introduced an entire new generation to the fragrance house, in all its myriad glories.)
So go on. It’s August. The phones are silent. Nobody’s watching. Now just hit ‘play’…
