If you ask our true mission at The Perfume Society, it is to help everyone improve their sense of smell – and get more pleasure out of perfume (and out of life itself), as a result.
Since we launched, a vital part of our activities has been hosting ‘How to Improve Your Sense of Smell’ workshops which share a technique that truly works. We know this not only from our own experience, but from the feedback from hundreds of attendees.
During this 90-minute workshop, you’ll meet fellow fragrance-lovers during this 90-minute workshop, to learn a fascinating yet simple exercise that will unlock the power of your sense of smell – as taught to Perfume Society co-founder Jo Fairley (also co-founder of Green & Black’s), by some of the world’s leading ‘noses’, notably LVMH’s Jacques Cavallier Belletrud (seen below with Jo) and Jean Kerléo, founder of The Osmothèque. It is essentially the same technique used by perfumers as they train, to help memorise the 4,000 or so materials essential to their craft.
You’ll also go home with a goody bag of scented treats – your ‘homework’, if you like.
There is a £10 booking fee for our VIP Subscribers (redeemable against a purchase on the day – we bring a stash of Discovery Boxes). The workshops are also open to guests of VIP Subscribers and to the general public at £25 per person (non-redeemable).
NB We host regular workshops in London, and as often as we can manage around the rest of the country. If you’d like to join the list to be informed of a workshop near you, click on any of the highlighted sentences below.
Once 10 people are interested, in any one location, we will organise an event – and we so look forward to meeting you.
