To create Oud Stallion, I took inspiration from several personal memories of smelling oud wood while attending horse races. A horse race is a very special experience. From the grandstands, you can feel that the horse and the jockeys are in perfect symbiosis, and you are captivated by the energy and excitement of the crowd – which is unlike anything else. I remember feeling my heartbeat follow the explosive start of the race. I remember seeing the branches of the trees along the track mingle with the sky as the horses were jumping over wooden fences and increasing their speed. I also remember breathing in scents of oud wood and leather in the warm summer air.
