Created by French aristocrat Albert Fouquet early in the 20th Century, it undoubtedly bears the hallmarks of decadence. But Fouquet had never planned to sell it. Legend has it that, after a chance encounter between Fouquet and future president John F. Kennedy on the French Riviera in 1937, the pair hit it off – and the rest is fragrance history.
