Marvellous Margot: a new face (and a new perfume) for Chanel

Today is a new chapter in the story of GABRIELLE CHANEL, Olivier Polge‘s light-filled namesake creation for the house founded by Mademoiselle Chanel, and a quintessential example of the exciting new ‘solar’ family of fragrances.

It marks the debut of Hollywood actress Margot Robbie, most recently wowing audiences as Sharon Tate in Quentin Tarantino‘s Once Upon A Time in Hollywood. (Smart timing, Chanel.)

We’re delighted to share with you a sneaky behind-the-scenes peek at photographer star Nick Knight‘s filming of the ad – which will of course be airing widely..

The scent itself? A more opulent, voluptuous incarnation of GABRIELLE CHANEL, which swirls with ylang ylang, orange blossom, tuberose and jasmine, and has a sublime sillage – trailing behind you, just like the silk around Ms. Robbie.

From £86 for 50ml eau de parfum
