Latest launches: our new fragrance favourites

We’re excited about these new unveilings – and we think you will be too. This week’s scents go round the world from the Best of British to the Provençal skies. Which will be going on your wishlist, this week?

Givaudan’s Louise Turner is behind the newest eau de parfum to sashay into the Boss The Scent feminine line-up. She’s taken notes of mandarin and famously animalic osmanthus flower, chosen to enrich the cocoa absolute and roasted tonka in the base, for a fragrance created to ‘explore seduction in the digital age’ – pointing out that only in real life can the senses intertwine. Its hashtag – #augmented sensuality – says it all.
From £49 for 30ml eau de parfum

Bottling the spirit of a Londoner, Burberry’s latest (and hotly-anticipated) scent captures bold attitude of the city girl, with Cara Delevingne cast as ‘face’ of the ad campaign. Blended by longstanding Burberry perfumer Francis Kurkdjian, the juice is as fun and frivolous as a night out on the town, with a trio of sunburst berries, juicy and ripe laid atop a bed of soft jasmine and violet petals, on a base of amber and musk.
£49 for 30ml eau de parfum

Connock London launches don’t come along every day – but this is worth the wait, inspired by founder Amanda Connock‘s passion for travel and ingredient discovery. In a coconut palm base – sourced on the Vittaveli island – encounter a breeze of bergamot, pepper berries, frankincense, geranium, jasmine, pink rose, hibiscus and spider lily, warmed by vanilla orchid, sandalwood, a subtle oudh and hints of coconut palm. Quite the desert island spritz, then.
£95 for 100ml eau de parfum

If there was ever a scent to cosy up to as autumn breezes in, it’s Peau Santal – a scent that champions sandalwood, enriching all of its smooth, soft, creamy facets with complementary ingredients. Brightness comes via pink pepper, a sweet spiciness from saffron, while olibanum accents the warmth of the wood and cashmere accentuates its delicate downiness. We think you’ll find it caresses the skin – and the soul – in the softest way.
£75 for 50ml eau de parfum

Bigger, better, longer-lasting scents are what we all crave, an olfactory task pulled off with aplomb in this super sexy, and highly unusual, extrait. Uniquely, Harrods worked with Nejma to guide this scent, and requested the musk to hover in the top notes. Shimmering like a mirage it swathes Provencal lavender in cool (almost fougère-like) mistiness, lapped at by milky coconut atop drifts of incense and precious woods that resonate for hours on the skin.
