Jean Patou and in-house perfumer Thomas Fontaine, celebrate the brands 100th year by bringing back Henri Alméras’s three scents, originally created in 1925. Each named after the three stages of a love affair, ‘seduction’, ‘doubt’ and ‘surrender’, the right scent for you, determined by the colour of your hair.
For blondes, Deux Amours is a seductive, green, floral bouquet. Notes include bergamot and neroli in the top; jasmine, tuberose, ylang ylang and rose in the heart, and smoothed with sandalwood and styrax in the base.
QUE SAIS-JE ?
A floral fruity chypre, created for brunettes. This scent represents the caution and desire of the affair. Notes include, apricot, peach and orange flower in the top, followed by jasmine, carnation and rose in the heart. The base rests with a sweetened bend of patchouli and honey.
For redheads., Adieu Sagesse gives in to top notes of rhubarb, lily-of-the-valley, neroli narcissus and bergamot blend with a heart of sweet gardenia and tuberose and musk in the base.
