The latest all-encompassing fragrance from Swedish perfume house Byredo pays homage to the ‘ghost flower’, a beautiful rare species that blossoms in one of the most arid deserts in the whole world – America’s inhospitable Mojave desert. Despite the barren landscape, baked ground and soaring temperatures, this little flower retains its majestic beauty all year round.
The scent perfectly reflects this in its ethereal composition of soft yet heady notes. Musky ambrette is layered over the fruitiness of Jamacian nesberry, followed by hints of powdery violet and magnolia. Amber, cedarwood and warming Chantilly musk round the perfume off by drawing you in closer with their warmth.
It’s intense, yet graceful – leaving the ‘spirit of mojave ghost to linger on your skin.’
