Fragrance ingredient of the week: lemon verbena

Have you ever enjoyed fresh lemon verbena tea? Personally, we think it’s one of the most refreshing drinks on the planet. Put a few leaves of lemon verbena, or Aloysia triphylla, in a cup, add boiling water – and voilà!

Add a little lemon verbena to a fragrance, and it delivers a brisk, pure, floral-citrus aroma. The leaves are deliciously lemony and fresh when rubbed, and give a cleanness and ‘uplifting’ freshness to scents.
