In reality, almost no fragrances are made up of just one note – but often, a creation is cleverly constructed to put a flower in the spotlight, with everything else tiptoeing around in the chorus line. (In reality, ‘single note’ fragrances can contain up to 200 different ingredients, even if they give the overwhelming impression of just one bloom…)
