FRAGRANCE FAMILY: FLORAL FRUITY
Belonging to the Le Jardin d’Enfance range, which promises to capture the gardens of our youth, Coeur de Jardin playfully pairs fruits and flowers with underlying moss.
A fruity-floral fragrance from Miller Harris which is ‘crisp. fruity and hesperidic’, as they put it, this innocent and delicate scent starts with a zesty top: lemon and Italian bergamot dance closely, while peach and pear play alongside.
After this happy-go-lucky welcome, the heart dazzles and bewitches with Turkish rose, jasmine, tuberose and a flutter of vanilla. As it unfolds over the next few hours, the base winds down with addictive orris butter, warm amber, musk, moss and patchouli, delivering beautiful depth. Reminiscent of the changing seasons, it’s the spark of hope that summer will come – retaining a definite coolness, while giving the feeling like warmth is not far off. (We just love that perfumers can play with temperature in this way, simply through the use of particular notes…)
If you’re anything like us, Coeur de Jardin will have you dreaming of long, balmy summer nights in a vibrant garden that’s brimming with unspoiled nature.
