The Italian design duos love of a Mediterranean rose garden in summertime, fragrantly distilled. Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana wanted a scent that was reminiscent of the bright colours and beautiful fragrance of the regions sunny weather and fresh water – like a fragrant sun-drenched sea breeze, if you will.
A soft rosy fragrance that’s utterly feminine, it opens with a fusion of rich Moroccan rose absolute, airy Bulgarian rose essence and crisp rose centifolia to create a floral masterpiece. Next come citrusy accords of lily and geranium, with a soft undertone of musk velvione to convey the balmy smell of sunshine.
‘In history and in nature, the nobility of the rose is unsurpassed,’ explains Domenico Dolce of the scent.
