Named after Bottega Veneta‘s iconic knot clutch bag, Thomas Maier‘s inspiration for the latest scent is the fresh aroma of flowers and clean linen that floats through the open windows of houses on the Italian Riviera.
The ‘breezy’ floral composition by Givaudan perfumer Daniela Andrier opens with a Clementine tree accord, via a blend of mandarin, limette, neroli and orange flower. As the scent beautifully dries down, a glorious heart of lavender, rose and peony is revealed – followed by an earthy base that mixes musk and tonka bean.
It’s alluring, airy and delightfully evokes the scent of the Italian coastline with every spritz.
