It’s award-season a-go-go at the moment, with spangles being dusted off and statuettes proudly polished. At The Perfume Society we’re lucky enough to smell beautiful things all day long, but sometimes we even get the chance take our noses out for the evening. Recently we were invited to the Love Perfume awards, voted for by staff and customers of The Perfume Shop throughout the UK. Now in its fifth year, the awards received over 10,000 votes received – the highest in the awards’ history.
Categories included Celebrity Launch, Bottle Design, Women’s and Men’s Launch and the much coveted title of Nose of the Year (not an award for the best looking nose, though that also applies, but the ‘metaphorical nose’ behind the fragrance brand and concept). The Perfume Experts’ Choice Award (first introduced last year) was again a popular category, voted for by staff who rated their top perfume launch of the year. The Love Perfume Awards were presented by The Perfume Shop’s Managing Director Gill Smith with her Leadership Team.
