Givenchy is renowned for heralding famous faces in its covetable campaigns. In fact, Hubert de Givenchy actually made history back in 1958 by asking Audrey Hepburn to represent L’Interdit over a conventional model.
The latest muse? None other than music icon Alicia Keys, who was recently announced as the face of upcoming fragrance Dahlia Divin. Joining the likes Amanda Seyfried, who is the current muse of their classic Very Irrésistible scent, the collaboration will be unveiled in all its glory come September.
‘Alicia is a remarkable woman whose charismatic personality and magnetic beauty are perfectly in line with what Givenchy has always been: noble, distinctive and unexpected,’ said Global President of Parfums Givenchy, Thierry Maman. ‘We very much look forward to working with her on an exciting new perfume project.’
Developed by perfumer François Demachy, the perfume is a beautiful composition of jasmine, mirabelle plum, patchouli, vetiver and sandalwood.
‘The scent is grounded, but still has a femininity that is very earthy, and I love that,’ Alicia Keys explained to WWD.
