If the (Acqua di Parma) cap fits, decorate it

Who doesn’t love a little personalisation…?

Until 5th May, Acqua di Parma has young designers/artists in residence at Selfridges Oxford Street, who are creating beautiful, one-of-a-kind lids for the new Ginepro di Sardegna – a brand new addition to the already renowned Blu Mediterraneo collection.  The designs are based on Majolican tin-glazed pottery dating back to the Renaissance, but evoking the crystal clear blue of the Mediterranean – and each designer is interpreting the fragrance in their own individual way through the use of colour, hand-painting every lid.

They’re available in store until 5th May – but only in limited quantities, so get your hands on one while stocks last…

The fragrance itself – which is most definitely ‘shareable’, if you like woody scents – sets out to capture the scents of the Mediterranean, with its notes of bergamot, pepper, allspice, juniper, sage, Virginia cedar and cypress. To us, it has a crystal-clear sparkle – rather like that sea itself.

The caps are created in limited quantities and come with the purchase of any 150 ml fragrance from the Blu Mediterraneo range, priced £78 for 150 ml, and are not available for online purchases – but if you can’t resist trying this aromatic, elegant scent, find it here.
