Launching into Harrods new Salon de Parfums with an 18 carat gold lid, Dead of Night is a hand-crafted perfume oil based on pure and natural oudh extract.
Created by nose Christophe Laudamiel alongside artistic executive Helena Christensen (yes, the supermodel), it opens heady and strong thanks to the sustainably harvested Borneo oudh in the base, which is accompanied by accords of bergamot and violet leaf at the top.
The heart introduces delicate hints of jasmine and rose, drying down to reveal warming amber, agarwood, incense and sandalwood. It really is the perfect aroma for chilly winter days like this one.
One thing’s for sure – if rich, oudh scents are your thing, you’ll fall head over heels for this.
