Robert Piguet says Fracas is the crown jewel in the collection of Robert Piguet Parfums. A cult favourite fragrance created in 1947 by genius perfumer Germaine Cellier, it is a legend and a trendsetter. Cellier dreamed of a perfume making its wearer feel like a bombshell. The result was Fracas, a provocative and glamorous fragrance, dramatic and elegant. With its opulent tuberose and jasmine accord, Fracas clings to the skin like a silky veil. Unlike traditional florals, however, it is dark and luscious, speaking more of a boudoir than a garden party. Conceived as a seductive perfume, it smoulders. When the initial brightness of the orange blossom gives way to the plush tuberose, Fracas reveals its sensuous side. Accents of sandalwood and musk enhance the richness and complexity of this perfume. Difficult to resist, impossible to forget.
